The following bugs were reported and fixed on the dates listed
below.  If you discover a problem, please consult this list

	RASTER VERSION
	The following files were modified so that the "read erdas
	image" option will work in the PC version of fragstats:

		readerd.c
		writeerd.c
		fragstats.make

	The following file was also modified by Tom Moore during
 	this process:

		readidri.c

	RASTER VERSION
	The wrong image was written out as the ID image, if an 
        ERDAS file was input.  Two changes made to writeerd.c:

	       changed "short i;"  to   "int i;"
	       changed "fwrite (&image,..."  to  "fwrite (imageptr,..."

	The PC version of fragstats does not reflect this change yet.
        I'm still waiting to get a new executable from Tom Moore.

	3-9-94  PC version now reflects this change.

	RASTER VERSION
	Bug in nndist.c -- if the number of exterior cells in a
	patch exceeds the limit of a signed short int (32767),
	nndist blows up.  File modified:  nndist.c
		
	Also modified rdweight.c for a different reason -- call
	to setfloat passed ints, should have been shorts.

	The PC version of fragstats does not reflect this change yet.
        I'm still waiting to get a new executable from Tom Moore.

	3-9-94  PC version now reflects this change.

	I discovered a bug in the way edge lengths were being calculated
        for landscapes with interior background patches, or background
	patches within the landscape border.  Many files were modified.

	Modified class.aml.  A variable "edgelen" was not initialized to
	zero.  This would only cause problems if polygons of a class existed,
	but they were completely surrounded by background, and the user opted
	to treat background with a weight of zero.  Thus, there would be no
	class edge (something I never anticipated).

	outfile" so that it would compile with the SunOS C compiler (cc).

	Tom Moore improved the nndist.c routine.  It now runs much faster,
	especially the PC version.

	Added checks for divide by zero condition in all calculations of
	fractal dimension.  FRAGSTATS would blow up in the fractal calculation
        if a patch had an area of 1.  If a patch, class or landscape has an
	area of 1 (and its not a perfect circle), FRAGSTATS will now set the
	fractal dimension to "NA".

	"stop" statement incorrectly placed in setup.aml -- caused fragstats to
	exit if a background value was entered.

	Stumbled on the 'ln' arithmetic operator in AML.  Removed all calls to
  	the C program "findlog"; now use this operator.  Added a check that the
	value entered for background is postive.

	In fragstats.aml, the lines that deleted the coverage_2, coverage_b and
	coverage_u were commented out.  Removed the comment so these coverages
	are deleted when the AML completes.

	Bug in the new routine ckback.c fixed.  I was wrongly reclassifying
        exterior patches to interior.

	More bug fixes!!  getsizes.c had a major error -- background patches
 	were not being considered when determining the largest patch in the
	landscape, as advertised.  I made minior changes to readasci.c,
 	readbin.c, readerd.c, readidri.c, and readsvf.c in the way that
	background is classified.  A cosmetic change was made to land.c.

	Removed the directories raster, vector, pcversion, and man.  Replaced
	with a tar and zip file.

	Fixed error:  if the input image did not contain a dot (".") in the 
	filename and the user requested an output ID image, the output ID
	image was given the same name as the input image, and thus over-
	wrote the input image.

	Changed regress.c, called by class.aml and land.aml.  Arc/info 
	version 7.0 can't read a record that includes an EOF; version
        6.x could.  Class.aml would blow up on the second read from
	the file coverage.regress created by regress.c.  A "\n" was 
	added to the last write in regress.c.

	Fixed a bug in nearest neighbor calculation (nndist.c).

	Modified writeimg.c and writeerd.c.  Corrected writeimg.c
	so that ERDAS 4 bit images were packtype 1 (not 0), and 8 bit
	images were packtype 0 (not 1).  Modified writeerd.c so that
	4 bit (ID) images were correctly written out.

	Fixed ckback.c so that it would process a background patch
	with a size > 32768.

	The syntax for the "ln" operator changed in arc/info version 7.03.
	The old syntax was " [calc %perimeter% ln].  The new syntax is
	"[calc ln %perimeter%].  The following files were modified to 
 	reflect this change:  patch.aml, class.aml, land.aml.
