The SIMFIT package
SIMFIT is a comprehensive package for simulation, curve fitting,
statistical
analysis and graph plotting in the life sciences. There are
no device drivers
but publication quality graphics can be generated in HPGL
for plotters and
laser printers or in PS for LaTeX users.
Version 3.2 (16-bit) runs on any PC with 470K free memory,
uses Watcom GKS
for graphics and the NAG library for numerical analysis, statistical
analysis,
differential equation solving and optimisation. It occupies
about 4.5 Mbyte
of disk space.
This release is a general purpose, 16-bit, cut down version
for 286 PC's and
under. Those with 386 PC's upwards, who are interested in
a superior protected
mode version (32-bit) with extra facilities, can contact the
author.
